Trim day 7, Cabinets day 3

Cabinets are wrapping up - the counter guy will be on site to do templates tomorrow. We dropped off all the sinks (which have been taking up valuable real estate in our garage) and they already set the kitchen sink in place. It's a stainless, undermount, apron-front sink so the base cabinet had to be modified on site. The sink's still in protective plastic for now. They swapped hardware for the cabinet that will hold pull out trash/recycling. The upper cabinets all got crown molding and light rails (to hide under cabinet lighting and power strips). Decorative end panels and spacers are going in. Not enough words to describe my kitchen excitement. High five cabinet guys.

More baseboards and crown have been installed, along with two basement closet systems. We also have poplar beams in the study (those will be stained) and ceiling coffers got the small cove trim in the dining room. Wainscoting is also up in the dining room. Still waiting for the pantry, mudroom closet and bench/cubbies, study bookshelves, playroom bench, and master closet. Oh, and coffers on the two story family room ceiling. So... a lot of the "big" stuff.  But the trim has definitely gone smoothly so far with no problems. High five, trim guys.

We noticed some bracing has been added to the inside of the garage openings, so maybe that means the garage doors are coming soon.  HVAC team was also there earlier, and the furnace is now installed.
